We are extremely happy to announce Russian tuners are crazy once again. It's been a long while since the last crocodile leather interior from the Moscow shop of Topcar. And there couldn't be a better comeback car than the GLE-Class Coupe.
Based purely on what Topcar is doing, the GLE Coupe takes up a bigger chunk of the Russian SUV market than in any other place. Almost all of their projects have targeted this awkward-looking rival for the BMW X6. Forget about the Porsches and BMWs!
But it also means that some of the owners are frustrated with how common their 4-door coupe has become. Topcar could already solve that problem with the Inferno body kit, but now the crocodile leather interior takes things even further.
No other company we know does reptile skin interiors like Topcar. Yet somehow, they felt the need to step up their game another notch. The red leather is joined by the usual Alcantara and Nappa hides, but also by red carbon fiber trim. You can clearly see it on the dash, door handles, and even the seats!
The blonde wood is another nice touch, as it adds an air of class. Our favorite bit of the entire GLE cabin is the steering wheel, which is made up of so many different layers and materials. If that's still no enough for you, the Russians can do gold to special order.
According to the latest details, Topcar is now also able to tune the 5.5-liter V8 engine, increasing the output to around 700 horsepower. And let's not forget about the Inferno styling package, available from €17,000. It can be ordered in carbon fiber or kevlar, giving a more aggressive appearance to the already angry German 4x4. And the best thing of all is that you can also combine it with the GLE 450 or any other model you choose.
