Gilera, long time no see, missed us like we missed thee? It looks like the answer is "Yes" and if you have any doubts, please take a loot at the new Gilera Fuoco 500ie LT, where LT stands for Large Track.
This beast can be driver with a category B license, as the front brake is pedal-actuated. Not sure whether this is the best way to license a rider aboard this 3-wheeler, but this is only a secondary concern.
The Gilera Fuoco 500ie LT packs a 492cc single-cylinder injected engine which deliver 40 HP at 7,250 rpm and 46.5 Nm (34.3 ft-lbs) at 5,250 rpm. It can also reach 143 km/h (88.9 mph) so it's not a toy.
Dual 12" wheels in front and a 14" in the rear, the Gilera Fuoco 500ie LT also comes with 240mm hydraulic rotors for serious stopping force. Transmission is CVT, so operation is very easy and the dry weight is 244 kg (538 lbs).
This aggressive design beast will soon be available for €7,999 ($11,040).
