Giant Vauxhall Astra Snow Globe to Be Displayed in London

It seems that the people at Vauxhall Motors were kind enough to offer a sneak preview of one of their marketing campaigns: the car manufacturer will display a bespoke snow globe, specially designed and built for the Vauxhall Ice Skate event.

Just to get an idea of the dimensions of this, Vauxhall said “the one-of-a-kind snow shaker will be filled with over 50 bags of artificial snow, for the much anticipated ice skating disco, to take place in central London this Thursday. At five metres in diameter the globe is easily large enough to accommodate the New Astra.”

If you haven’t heard anything about this event and want to go ice-skating, or just want to go and see the car in the huge snow globe, you should know that “he company has teamed up with some of the UK’s best music, design, and style talents to drive some winter excitement into London. Celebrities to DJ at this ‘Enchanted Evening’ include chart-topper Mr. Hudson, Sting’s talented daughter Coco Sumner and radio and television presenter George Lamb.”

If disco skating is not your thing, after checking out the Astra trapped in the snow globe, you can take a look at the Car-aoke Corsa, which will help play some party tunes for the event. Vauxhall has put some serious energy into preparing for this event, as the company teamed up with illustrator Si Scott. This is not their first collaboration with such stars, as British fashion designer Emma Bell and illustrator Kate Moross helped Vauxhall with the last two successful events. So you might be pleasantly surprised.
