Get Your 6.2l F-150 SVT Raptor Now! Starting at $41,995

After a few months of anticipation, American manufacturer Ford announced it has debuted sales of the F-150 SVT Raptor equipped with the new 411-horsepower 6.2-liter engine. The sale of the first unit, to NASCAR driver Greg Biffle, market the start of what Ford hopes to be a pick-up frenzy.

Dubbed "the first-ever high-speed off-road performance truck offered by any manufacturer," the SVT Raptor is seven inches wider than a base F-150 and packs, aside for the engine we mentioned above, modified chassis and suspension enhancements. The Raptor also has unique cast-aluminum front control arms and SVT-tuned 35-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain TA/KO 315/70-17 tires.

“There are a lot of customers patiently waiting to get their 6.2-liter F-150 SVT Raptors, and they won’t be disappointed. The 6.2’s performance perfectly complements the Raptor’s unique off-road capability, and will blow our customers away. We’re working hard to get the trucks to our customers as soon as we can,”
Mark Grueber, Ford F-150 marketing manager said in a release.

The SVT Raptor comes with a wide range of customization options, ranging from halogen lights and light bar to a tow kit and chrome, black or blue powder-coated cam covers (only for the 5.4l engined Raptor.

The MSRP for the F-150 SVT Raptor equipped with the new engine is $41,995. And remember, it's worth it, as the new engine makes the Raptor the most powerful half-ton pick-up on the market.
