Bentley Motors has for the first time been included on the Top Employer list for 2012, an annual report that is put together by independent research company, CRF Institute.
The Institute described the company’s global HQ in Crewe, Chesire as offering its 4,000 employes “exceptional working conditions”. Bentley was recognized for creating an in-company culture, as well as promoting engineering careers.
This recognition follows the carmaker’s 37 percent sales increase for 2011 - the company sold 7,003 units around the world last year and is now looking forward to launching new models.
“Everyone who works at Bentley is proud of the brand. We work hard to ensure the commitment to excellence seen in all our cars is reflected in our commitment to our staff. Achieving this award for the first time proves we are on the right track. One of the things that is unique about Bentley is that all the functions work together on one site in Crewe - from designers to engineers, and sales and marketing professionals,” said Christine Gaskell MBE, Member of the Board for Personnel.
