The newly-released Honda CR-V is unmistakeable, and while it may be all-new, it’s good to see that you can trace the legacy back to the original example, revealed back in 1995. Now Honda are showing off the Euro-spec version in detail, with a series of new promo videos.
It shows a series of subtle changes over the US-spec version. Aesthetically, there’s little to differentiate the two, as the Euro car gets a mildly-revised front fascia, with headlights featuring in-built LED DRLs, as well as new side mirrors with integrated indicators. The new car’s interior, a big step forward (we say) compared to the current model, remains unchanged.

Yet, as with most of these Euro-spec vs US-spec deals, it’s under the bonnet where the biggest difference lies, as the Euro-spec car can be specified with a choice of two diesel engines, one of which is very new and it will substantially increase sales of the Honda Civic in Europe, once it receives the new powerplant - the 1.6-liter diesel.
