Since MINI decided to replace the Mk 2 MINI Cooper recently and the world declared itself unsatisfied with the way it turned out, the guys from XCAR decided to take a closer look at it, going beyond what the British company wanted us to see initially.
Said and done. They called up Oxford and asked them for a car to take some exclusive shots of it. The whole thing materialized into a video they recently posted online.
In it, they present the car from inside going over the basics such as the new engines and the new features of the car, together with all the pretty new apps for it, such as parking sensors, a first for the model.
Whilst I too am a bit disappointed of how the Cooper S model turned out (honestly, more than 200 HP from that 2-liter could’ve been obtained) I am also rather curious of how the new car will behave on the road and if it will live up to the hype everyone’s building around it. We’ll just have to wait and see. Until then, let’s take a look at what XCAR had to say.
