Get 990 hp of Mamba Flowing Inside Low-Mileage Supercharged 2004 Dodge Viper

What can be said about the Dodge Viper SRT-10 other than hinting that such a raw and masculine sports car needs to be experienced firsthand in order to properly grasp the concept behind its performance credentials. And if that is not enough, then you might as well select a special edition of said model – one that was afterwards customized by A&C Performance to supercharge its way to 990 hp at the crank!

This gorgeous-looking 2004 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Convertible with a black exterior and a black over red interior can be had for almost nothing in collectible terms – the online listing is $61,500, with the pristine example clocking a mere 21,578 miles on the odometer.

While some might fret the thought of going back in time to 2004 level, the Viper is certainly worth the trip with its modified, supercharged 8.3-liter V10 engine, and six-speed stick shifter, as well as almost spotless Carfax report (save for an easy to overlook small incident that occurred 15 years ago).

Also, we should take not of its official Mamba special edition status, responsible for the colorful interior touches. It also includes a host of other changes aside from the enhancements operated by A&C Performance, such as the addition of a billet aluminum twin disc racing clutch, six-point competition harness, Corsa Performance cat back exhaust with 3-inch inlets, or a 7-inch Pioneer infotainment system, among others.

By the way, A&C’s own work performed in Murrieta, California, included much more than just adding a Paxton Novi supercharger, such as packing under the hood 65-pound fuel injectors, American Racing headers, as well as titanium valve springs and retainers, among others.

All in all, the modifications have led to a dyno rating of no less than 990 hp at the crank and a crazy 770 horsepower at the rear wheels with 695 lb-ft  (942 Nm) of twist.

The impressive credentials are doubled by the unblemished styling that includes highlights such as the large red brake calipers hiding behind the chromed 18 / 19-inch alloys and the color-matching Viper SRT-10 badges. Touching, to say the least – all those steroids hiding underneath the metal are so well tucked away you could almost pass this as a sleeper Viper... If such a thing could ever exist!
