The guys from Armytrix are, apparently, on a daring marketing campaign to promote their new products. Amongst them you’ll find a new exhaust for the M235i model that we showed you a while back. However, back then, we didn’t know all the details about it.
Now, the guys came back and posted a new video on Youtube, claiming that with their new exhaust, your car would earn no less than 25 HP, which is in itself a really impressive result.
Their dyno run seems to confirm the numbers, which would make this product one of the best on the market. Considering giants like Akrapovic can get only around 10 extra HP with their own products, this one seems to be too good to be true.
The original run posted around 273 HP at the wheels, a decent result especially considering BMW claims the car has 326 HP at the flywheel. That would translate into a 12.5 percent transmission loss which is exactly what we’d imagine a current Bimmer would have.
With the Armytrix sport exhaust, the car posted 298.5 HP at the wheels, a 25.1 HP increase, just as we told you before. That means, at the flywheel, the car has 335.8 HP at the flywheel, more than decent for a car that weight just a tad over 1,500 kg.
Now get yourself a set of new springs to add a bit more stability in the corners (that’s the only thing we didn’t like during our time with an M235i) and you’ll have the complete package you always dreamt of.
