Nowadays, auto repair shops don't actually do much repairing. They take the old part out, put a new one in and fill some paperwork. That's not really impressive, is it? What we need is some old-fashioned grinder action. And while we're at it, why not add a hot girl to the mix?
German car magazine Auto Motor und Sport started a new Youtube series a few months ago. It's called FIXX IT and features a young mechanic and his sexy assistant, who knows nothing about car repair.

The fact that they use different generations of Volkswagen Golfs throughout the whole series shouldn't surprise anybody. After all, the hatch has been made in Germany for over 40 years and is the most lucrative model made there.

The show began in December 2014 and also airs on television. We like seeing a custom Remus exhaust install as much as the next guy, but we probably wouldn't be watching videos in German without the sexy Tanja Tischewitsch, who's nickname is Tenny Love.

She was born in Hannover back in August 1989 and rose to fame as a reality television start participating in shows like I'm a Celebrity - Get Me Out of Here! and Germany's Next Superstar. Tanja is the only child of an Indian mother and a German father of Ukrainian descent, which kind of explains her exotic looks.

In any case, FIXX IT started with an episode on how to fix paint chips and covered everything from suspension work and brake pad replacements to refurbishing a windshield. We've selected a couple of entertaining videos, but you can check all of them out on AMS's Youtube channel.

Editor's note: This young German mechanic… he has perfect restraint!

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
