We've seen a lot of weird things happening lately so looking at a BMW 1 Series racing an Audi Q5 shouldn't surprise you. The two cars going at it in this clip though, are no ordinary 1 Series or Q5s.
These are the high-end versions. The BMW is a 320 HP M135i whilst the Audi is an SQ5 which translates into 313 diesel horses. Quite a lot for any car. Looking over the weight numbers the Bimmer has the upper hand weight 1 and a half tones.
On the other hand, the SQ5 weighs 2 tones but has the upper hand when it comes to torque, with 650 Nm (480 lb-ft) against 450 Nm (332 lb-ft). However, when it comes to 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) times, the Bimmer leads by a small fraction of 0.2 seconds.
What will happen is hard to say, especially since the end result depends on the drivers also. We suggest you watch the video and let us know what you think.
