Ladies and Gentlemen, Bentley is no longer rumored to be working on an SUV or officially announcing that it is considering such a car - here is the real deal, the Bentley SUV Concept that was presented at the Geneva Motor Show today.
Named EXP F SUV Concept, the vehicle comes with styling cues borrowed from past and present Bentley models, with one of these being the famous Blower Bentley from the 1920s. However, the automotive producer hasn’t said anything about the platform that will be used for the vehicle. The SUV is expected to share its underpinnings with the next-generation Audi Q7, VW Touareg and Porsche Cayenne.
The interior shows just how far the designers have gone to make sure that customers don’t feel the difference between this car and a Mulsanne or a Continental.
As for the engine, the vehicle is powered by Bentley’s 6.0-liter twin-turbo W12 engine, which, in this application, produces 600 hp and works with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The carmaker said that it could add the new 4.0-liter twin-turbo powerplant, as well as hybrid powertrain later in the vehicle’s life cycle.
