Bentley has unveiled a new ‘Ice Speed Record’ special edition model of their most powerful convertible at this year’s Geneva show. It celebrates the 205.5mph (330.7km/h) world ice-speed record that was set a couple of weeks ago by Finland’s four-time world rally champion Juha Kankkunen in a Continental Supersports convertible.

All of the 100 units that will be built will come in a choice between three bespoke paint colors - Beluga, Quartzite and Arctica White. But, whichever body color you go for, the soft-top will be finished in a dark grey 'metallic look'. Other exterior special touches include the new 20-inch, 10-spoke alloy wheels, with a dark tint finish, that are wrapped in Pirelli 275/35ZR20 high performance tires.

Inside the car, we sport high-gloss carbon fiber in a red weave finish on the dashboard, center console and roof panel. Red piping has been added to the seats and doors, while the stitching is done with Pillar Box Red on the, door casings, seats, steering wheel and gearshift paddles.

The Supersports comes with Bentley's 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged bio-fuel W12 engine that runs on both petrol (gasoline) or E85 bio-ethanol or any combination of the two.

“Juha Kankkunen’s drive was a remarkable achievement and worthy of a very special car. The Continental Supersports ‘Ice Speed Record’ is a true driver’s car that captures that unique Bentley spirit. It offers extreme performance, agility and an extrovert personality, while retaining the refinement, handcrafted luxury and comfort our customers expect,” said Duerheimer, Bentley’s new Chairman and Chief Executive.
