Geiger Camaro SS Compressor Details Revealed

The German tuners at Geigercars have just finished their latest project, based on the 2010 Camaro SS model. However, the aftermarket process incorporates no exterior changes, but the guys sure did a great job on the inside. And by that we refer to the engine and performance, not the car seats or the dashboard lights.

The extensive tuning program developed by Geigercars for the top-of-the-range Camaro SS, with the resulting model performing up to 568 horsepower and with the maximum torque of 799 Nm.

The tuners have, in fact, worked on a compressor reconstruction that now has the hot flue gas stream leaving the combustion chamber via a fan-type elbow with sport catalysts and roars through the stainless steel Geiger manufactured sport exhaust system.

A two plate sport clutch has been used for the traction with the transmission. After the reduction of the end gear ratio, the Geiger Camaro reaches 314km/h (195mph), which means that it can leave even the Porsche 911 GT3 behind.

Of course, installing coilovers and adjustable sports anti-roll bars on front and rear axels wouldn’t have been enough to have this power totally under control, so GeigerCars have also worked on a strong braking system. At the front there are six piston saddles with grooved 380mm plates and four piston saddles on 355mm (grooved) brake discs operate the drive shaft.

Maybe the only change brought to the car’s design is the 10x22 inch light metal frames, fitted with 265/30 and 295/25 tires.
