Gary Collins Busted for DUI... Again

What is happening with Gary Collins? It is generally believed that people become wiser when they get old but as far as the 70-year-old actor and TV host is concerned things are just the other way round.

According to TMZ, actor Gary Collins has been charged with two counts of DUI for allegedly driving a motor home drunk on January 31. The star was pulled over by the cops somewhere near Santa Barbara as he was driving erratically. As incredible as it may seem, TMZ was told that the star's alcohol level was almost four times the legal limit.

Consequently, Collins was charged by the Santa Barbara County D.A. with DUI and driving with a .08 blood alcohol level or higher.

For those who don't know, this is not the first DUI Collins is accused of. In fact, the actor has a tradition when it comes to such incidents. Since 2002, Collins has been charged with three DUIs (this one also included). His first arrest came in 2002 in Mississippi, but he was found not guilty after a trial.

The second DUI incident happened on October 23, 2007 when Collins was involved in a crash caused by another driver. The accident made Collins' car collide with two vehicles parked on the side of the street. Cops at the scene reportedly smelled alcohol on Collins' breath and initiated a field sobriety test. He was arrested for investigation of misdemeanor driving under the influence. The other driver died of his injuries in a local hospital on December 7, 2007 but Collins wasn't found guilty of his death.

And now he is charged again... With such a past, hasn't he had enough of DUIs?
