Game of Thrones Star Peter Dinklage Says the Chrysler 300C Is a Trophy – Video

Tyrion Lannister isone of the greatest characters in HBO’s huge hit, Game of Thrones. Others prefer Jon Snow but it’s unanimously accepted, though, that Peter Dinklage’s character is the most intelligent among the major POV persons. The star sure has a way with words, which most likely is the reason Chrysler opted him to promote their full-size luxury car.

Chrysler have already announced their new advertising campaign last month. They released a 60-second launch spot titled “The Kings & Queens of America”. Celebrating success through hard work across all walks of life, the marketing campaign also includes three, 30-seconds spots for the “Drive Proud” campaign that recently rolled out.

Narrated by Peter Dinklage, the American automaker wants to point out how success comes from laborious work and it should be gratified accordingly. The campaign stars accomplished entrepreneurs, small-business owners, self-employed contractors, designers and artists and had the actor narrating all of the video spots.

In the videos below you’ll hear Tyrion Lannister talking about Chrysler 300’s attributes, such as the 363 horsepower and best-in-class AWD technology, as well as the model’s luxury features. There are a couple of lines that stand out as being different. It's as if carmakers are admitting that opulence and materialism are starting to become a bad thing in a world where few can afford luxury as a lifestyle.

There’s nothing wrong with being flashy, so long as you’ve done the work to back it up,” you hear Dinklage saying. Another of the commercials tells customers they should see the Chrysler 300 as a trophy of success, just like sportsmen and actors have their own ways of getting appreciated.

As to the late 2014 facelift version they are promoting, like we previously said, the 2015 Chrysler 300 is getting a much cleaner nose that ditches the chrome accents below the headlights and features a larger grill with Chrysler’s winged logo. The most serious changes took place inside the sedan, with new features such as the full speed range Adaptive Cruise Control, Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning and others included.
