Gaming While Driving? The GPS Game Console

Driving is a real pleasant activity, except for the times when you get stuck in traffic and all you can do is listen to the radio. In case you experience such moments every once in a while, here's something for you: the GPS game console, formerly known as KW-GM4306TG. Just as the name suggests, this gadget is a 2-in-1 device which provides both navigation and gaming features.

Let's begin with the GPS functions: the device has a 4.3-inch TFT LCD screen with touchscreen support and a maximum resolution of 480x272 pixels. Even if it comes with a 64 MB SDRAM and 256MB of NAND flash memory, the storage space can be easily expanded using an SD or a MMC memory card. Sold with pre-installed Microsoft Windows CE.NET 4.2 operating system, the GPS unit also has multi-language support and an optional TMC function which could help the driver stay up to date with the latest traffic information.

According to Kinwei Technology, KW-GM4306TG supports 8-bits games, all of them playable with the package-included game joypad. And more importantly, thanks to the large storage capacity, the owner could save a large number of games without deleting maps or other files.

Apart from all these features, the GPS Game Console can always act as a Bluetooth system, allowing the driver to pair the device with the mobile phone while keeping the hands on the steering wheel. In addition, the gadget provides an AV-in port that allows you to connect a rear-mounted camera and display the image on KW-GM4306TG's screen.

Unfortunately, Kinwei Technology didn't unveil the device's price, but the whole package may be a bit too expensive than you might expect due to the gaming features included in the GPS unit.
