Well, perhaps BMW’s North American fans – which, unlike Germans, Brits, or Australians – cannot get a pricing quotation for the 2023 M3 Touring because it will not be available in their region, will also indulge in checking out another wishful thinking idea based on the newly unveiled G81. If one is already impossible to obtain, the second one might not add more gas to the fire, hopefully.
Anyway, the virtual artist better known as X-Tomi Design on social media has again decided to rekindle the CGI love for BMW's latest official apparitions. Thus, after quickly morphing the all-new X1 crossover SUV into a summer-loving Convertible earlier this month, he is back in a digital Bavarian mood with an even faster BMW M3 Pickup version.
Diehard BMW fans might already know that we have already seen such transformations in the real world, so this is not without logic. Alas, while M GmbH building, not one, but two M3 Utes might sound like the biggest April Fool’s gag ever, in the end, BMW might have been the bigger fool for not putting either of them in production.
Now, after missing the opportunity back in 1986 and 2011, BMW has another shot at redemption – but only if they heed the advice of this pixel master and quickly carve out yet another M3 pickup. And, perhaps, that one will be sold in America, as well…
