G-Power Puts Together a 610 HP BMW 760i as a Swan Song for the Flagship

German tuner G-Power is mostly known for its take on ridiculously powerful M cars and Frankenstein experiment-worthy engine swaps. However, they are definitely not known for their work with luxurious limousines such as the 7 Series.

However, since that’s also a BMW, it was probably just a matter of time until they turned their eyes on it and made it a little better. And in their usual style, they went for the biggest, baddest model of the line-up: the 760i.

Under the bonnet of this beast lies a 6-liter twin-turbo V12 that’s good for 544 HP and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque. Those figures allow the limousine to accelerate to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.6 seconds. That is insane when you consider the fact that it also weighs 2.1 tons.

It gets even better when you realize what the G-Power team did with it. They took the power output up to 610 HP together with 870 Nm (642 lb-ft) of torque, available from just 2,000 RPM. These new figures allow the car to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.3 seconds which is roughly the same as a manual BMW M3 these days.

So how can you get this kit for your car? Well, you’ll need to contact G-Power and have €3,095 at your disposal. That’s how much the G-Power Bi-Tronik 5 V1 power module costs, excluding manhours.

The car in the photos below is also sporting a set of their custom wheels, the 21” Hurricane RR forged version that cost €9,000 all on their own. I think it’s safe to say ‘pass’ to those though, especially at that price.
