Even though it’s better known for tuning BMWs, G-Power also has a knack for making Mercedes-AMG models more exciting than they come from the factory. The German tuner chose the E63 S 4Matic+ as the building block for their newest project, which promises to hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.1 seconds.
As if G-Power wanted to prove a point against Brabus, this E63 S 4Matic+ has 800 PS and 1,000 Nm of torque to offer. Make that 789 horsepower and 737 pound-feet in U.S. currency, more than the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye develops from 6.2 liters displacement, hemispherical combustion chambers, and 2.7-liter twin-screw supercharger.

The tuner claims the E63 S 4Matic+ can, therefore, hit more than 300 km/h (186 mph), which is almost on par with the Mercedes-AMG GT if you were wondering. In order to achieve this output, the Performance Software V3 remapping of the engine control unit complements upgraded turbochargers, aero-optimized wheels, stainless-steel downpipes, and free-flowing catalytic converters.

21-inch Hurricane RR alloy wheels with a diamond finish round off the list of modifications, to which G-Power adds black badging both up front and on the trunk lid. No enhancements were made to the interior, which is alright given the luxurious character of the E-Class.

In its fifth generation since 2016, the E-Class retails at €44,863 in Germany for the 200 d in sedan flavor. The 63 S 4Matic+ retails at €122,724 while the T-Modell with the high-output V8 is €125,521. Those who want to spend even more can choose between the CLS and GT 4-Door Coupe, which happen to share the Modular Rear Architecture with the C-Class.

Even though it’s fast in a straight line and features Drift Mode, the E63 S 4Matic+ has a challenger in the guise of the BMW M5. The Competition Package is even better, packing more suck-squeeze-bang-blow and superior handling dynamics for €128,600 or nine grand more than the M5.
