Did I say storm? Sorry, I take that back. What I really meant to say was hurricane and if you’re keen on finding out why, let me add that here’s the place to do so. And yes, the beast is coming to Geneva. In fact, it should be already there, well hidden from inquiring eyes.
The worldwide tuning arena would be definitely a very very very boring place without Mansory, no doubt about it. But in order to keep a reputation in the game, one must show both skill and madness, especially when providing tuning works for a macho off-roader called G-Class.

So here’s Mansory, presenting their Sahara Edition pack based on the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, which they call “the perfect desert off-roader”. In case of Armageddon, zombie apocalypse and other natural disasters, we might add.

First and foremost, you must know that Mansory tweaked the SUV’s twin-turbo V8 and to be honest, they might have figured out a way to put a tornado in there, because power output went to 828 HP while maximum torque was electronically limited to 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft). In fact, they used racing components and by racing components we mean pistons, connecting rods, crankshaft, cylinder heads and so on.

They also came up with a carbon fiber body kit, including wider fenders and side skirts, all of this making the G-Wagen 40 mm (1.57 in) wider at the edges. Other off-roadish add-ons are the front bumper with under ride protection plus a redesigned rear bumper.

You could say Mansory were on a frenzy regarding equipment so the desert-worthy G-Class got a pair of new headlights as well as four additional lights on the roof, not to mention new wheel designs for Middle East clients and Dan Bilzerian to choose from, as well as sizes ranging from 21 to 23 inches.

Price is still a secret, but to be honest, we incline to think that no matter how high it gets, there will still be eccentric clients interested in showing-off one of these. You know, because vanity and opulence. So, Mansory, better sell it quick, before they start naming hurricanes after it.
