G 63 AMG 6x6 to Play Part in 2015 Jurassic World Movie

Even though the six-wheeled AMG G-Class is pretty far from needing any kind of extra publicity - which until now has happened mostly thanks to the model's sheer existence - it seems that the Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6x6 will get a rather important part in the upcoming Jurassic Park movie.

Inspired by the late Michael Crichton's dinosaur sci-fi/adventure series, the fourth movie of the Jurassic Park franchise is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2015 and it will be called Jurassic World.

As some Mercedes-Benz aficionados and Jurassic Park fans out there remember, this isn't the first time we will see an all-wheel drive Benz playing tag with dinosaurs, as 1997's The Lost World: Jurassic Park flick featured some pre-production and highly-modified versions of the M-Class W163.

We found the photo above on an unofficial Facebook page that keeps track of how the preparations for the fourth movie of the Jurassic Park franchise are going and, as it seems, at least one modified G 63 AMG 6x6 will have a vehicle role in the motion picture.

Considering that the “standard” Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6x6 already looks ready for an action/adventure movie right from the factory, we're wondering what type of modifications will be made on the model in order to prepare it for a battle with a T-Rex or a pack of Velociraptors.

Expect more information about the Mercedes-Benz and Jurassic World tie-in over the upcoming months, especially since the filming for the movie is starting this very week in Hawaii. Hopefully, the G 63 AMG 6x6 will sustain less abuse than the pre-production M-Class models in the second motion picture from the franchise, even though it looks like it could handle a lot worse.
