A new TV commercial aired during the last two regular season NFL games of 2013 may have revealed Ram’s future design take on the 1500 pickup truck.
The 30-second spot, which features a truck in a testing facility, includes two images that are believed to show the next-generation Ram. The vehicle appears briefly but reveals a more aerodynamic and curvy nose, a more raked-back windshield, while the truck’s familiar crosshair is gone altogether.
Contacted by Automotive News, a Ram spokesman denied that the images are linked to the next 1500, saying that they are “intended to show what’s behind designing, engineering and building great trucks”.
