Furious 7 Already Screened in Secret and Here’s What the Movie Is About

They’ve been courting fans with countless video teasers, trailers, IMAX clips, behind-the-scenes footage, interviews and whatnot. But nobody really expected Universal Studious to actually release the movie before the official unveil planned for April 3rd. Yet, it happened and Furious 7’ director James Wan, screenwriter Chris Morgan and actor Tyrese Gibson were there to watch the crowd’s amazement as the movie would role.

When? Where? Why didn’t we get a chance to be among those few who actually saw the movie before everybody else? It’s almost like we can hear you asking all these questions, but the answer is only one, nobody knew.

It turns out it was a last minute call Universal Studious did when they decided to premiere Furious 7 at a secret midnight screening last night during this year’s South by Southwest in Austin. After all the SXSW is a set of film festival before anything else, so it is supposed to have some premieres. Besides things like interactive and music festivals and conferences, fostering creative and professional growth alike, movies are a big part of the show.

It turns out some people did know about the seventh installment of the Fast and Furious saga, since fans started lining up outside four hours before the movie was scheduled to start. According to Yahoo Movies, however, that didn’t seem to mind anybody who apparently loved the part when Paul Walker appeared on screen about five minutes.

That’s when the loudest cheers apparently happened and there’s no surprise with that since we already assumed this movie is partly about some sort of a good-bye thing.

I finished the movie last week. It’s hot off the presses,” the movie’s director Wan said before the movie would start rolling. Rapper and actor Tyrese Gibson then got to the mike saying that “the reason we kept the movie going is on behalf of our brother Paul Walker.”

And Tyrese only came to warn fans for what they were about to see in the ending of the film, since it closes with a touching tribute to Walker. This obviously left many in the theater holding back tears.
