Now, that's a truly funny recall for a hefty lot of Triumph bikes: their turning signal lamps could fall off and need replacement.
Now, this is funny because of the news itself, as the safety hazard is rather low-to-inexistent, and is even more hilarious as Triumph says the lamps could hang from their electrical wiring.

Now, taking your Triumph Tiger 800 for some rough off-road riding and noticing that one of the blinkers is broken, even if you didn't drop the bike may not be that dramatic. If you're and adventure tourer then you have some powertape with you and can fix this to some extent, but riding away with a 2013 Daytona 675 and having your blinkers dangling on their wires at high speed is silly.

413 Triumphs have been recalled for inspection, and dealers will replace the said assemblies. The bikes recalled for inspection are 2012-2013 Daytona 675, 2012-2013 Street Triple, 2012-2013 Speed Triple, and 2012-2013 Tiger 800 series.
