Riding your bike in the wild is a very nice thing, and being able to ride on rough terrain where usual street bikes will be in trouble is even more fun. However, the harder one rides, the more the chances of crashing one has. And if we consider the jumps experienced off-road riders are always glad to make use of, things start being a bit dangerous, too.
Now, if it's about coming off the bike, landing in water is by far more preferable to crashing hard on the ground... though water inside the cylinders or having to ride wet all the way back to the camp or home aren't quite the nicest ways to end the day.
We took a serious laugh watching this video, especially as one guy here has done almost the same trick, but with no jumping and managing to stop halfway in the mud (wink). Ride safe, have fun!
