The guys from Carbon Octane, a Saudi publication, took a fully decked BMW M235i out for a spin, courtesy of our friends over at BMW Abu Dhabi that are known to bring only the most expensive cars into the Emirate.
Now, if you’re thinking that we’re referring only to the optionals you can tick on the configurator, you’d be wrong. And then, if you’re an avid reader of ours, you probably already guessed that something’s up with this car.

It’s featuring every possible M Performance part on the catalogue. On the outside you’re welcomed by the bi-color M Performance wheels that cost $4,500 alone and the M Performance front splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser that has a spoiler sitting nicely above it and the boot lid.

Inside, the M Performance steering wheel (without the sport display that we hated when we reviewed the car) welcomes you to a world of madness. You’re going to need that extra thickness and the grip of the Alcantara on it.

The gearbox is automatic which means that this car will do 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.6 seconds, comparable to the old M3. All the way while accelerating you’ll be accompanied by the M Performance exhaust system at the back.

Speaking of specs, you should also know that the engine is a 3-liter turbocharged petrol units with a inline 6-cylinder configuration that makes 326 HP and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque, all of which is being sent to the rear wheels. An xDrive model is in the works as well.

The price for all of this? Well, adjusted to the Abu Dhabi market, this M235i has a price tag of AED250,000 which translates into roughly $68,059. Not bad.
