Full Details on the Vorsteiner GTRS3 BMW M3

After the Vorsteiner GTRS3 M3’s first photos and details broke out on Monday, we were intrigued by how much the American tuner charges for a widebody kit. $25,000 for aesthetic changes only seemed like too much, really.

Well, Vorsteiner actually offers much more than that, according to new information released by the company. The California-based aftermarket specialist also worked on the engine, squeezing a further 180 horsepower out of it. The total amount of power rises to 600 horsepower, from the standard 420 horsepower the V8 puts out. The magic is done through a forced induction power kit from VF Engineering and thanks to a software tune by GIAC.

To keep with the extra power, the engineers from Vorsteiner fitted the car with large disc Brembo monobloc brakes and a KW suspension. The custom matte green paint work and installation has been exclusively performed by C&C Collision based out of Pasadena, California. C&C Collision Inc. has also been selected as the exclusive installer for the GTRS3 kit within North America.

The GTRS3 Coupe package is Vorsteiner’s flagship product within the BMW lineup, with only 100 examples being produced worldwide with individual serial identification plates and badges.

The GTRS3 M3 package includes a complete splitter, extended front fenders, extended side skirts, rear quarter panel fender arch extensions and wide stance rear bumper with carbon diffuser. All these body parts are made from carbon fiber. For extra charge, Vorsteiner will also offer clients stainless-steel quad exhaust, vented carbon fiber hood and the TRS lightweight boot lid.
