Ford is keen to show the world the the Focus has a great tuning potential, so the company is introducing three custom incarnations of the compact at the L.A. Auto Show. Earlier today we presented you Ford Vehicle Personalization’s view of what the Focus should be like. Now, it’s time to see what FSWerks has done with the car.

New 2012 Ford Focus will show it offers more than just performance when several cars on display at the 2010 Los Angeles International Auto Show bring the standout Focus design to life with aftermarket accessories,” a Ford statement reads.

FSWerks sees the new Focus as the perfect platform to build on and show what it can do. The tuner is offering a set of aesthetic and tech modifications for the compact.

The hatch now rides on 19-inch DPE R16 rims that come in a 19-inch size and use Continental ExtremeContact DW tires. The tuner has also installed a 3dCarbon roof wing that makes the car look more aggressive.

The vehicle’s powerplant has been gifted with a stainless steel exhaust, a performance cold air intake, new engine cover, while the engine compartment welcomed a new front stress bar.

The Focus has been lowered by 3 inches (7.6 centimeters), thanks to the use of a H&R coil-over kit, so the car now looks meaner and handles better.

What I find great about the new Focus is that it’s a sporty, compact Ford with the global design our customers want,” said Randy Robles, FSWerks vice president. “The previous Focus versions have been huge for us, so we’re excited to continue that tradition.
