When your rap lyrics often claim that murder pays off for some reason we won’t just believe you actually got a Rolls-Royce Wraith by simply working hard. And that is what French Rapper Elie Yaffa, best known as Booba, is now using as a daily driver. The most legally downloaded artist in French history recently took his luxury ride over at Alex Varga’s auto shop to receive the proper treatment.
He was born on the outskirts of Paris in Sevres. His father is Senegalese and his mother is French. He first started of with his friend Ali to form Lunatic, a group that released one critically acclaimed album in 2000.
After that, however, Booba embarked on a successful solo career, selling more than 10 million discs over the years, becoming a true icon of modern French pop culture, typically revered for the quality of his flow and beats.
However, he is often criticized because of his controversial lyrics, which include dark melodies accompanied with raw texts, typical of the rap music from New York.
Apart form that, it turns out he is also quite a car enthusiast, considering he brags about all sorts of luxury rides. The latest acquisition is a black Rolls-Royce Wraith that he had sent over at the Miami-based The Auto Firm shop for the proper refresh.
As far as we can tell he bought it as a second hand car from a friend, which could be the reason Booba took there in the first place. The interior seems new and the black-on-black exterior also seems to be a fresh job.
