One of the largest beverage bottling companies in Latin America, Arca Continental, ordered no less than 273 Freighliner Trucks, while Mexican transport provides Transmex went for 96 of them.

The total of 369 Freightliner trucks represent the largest single orders for the American but German owned brand this year.

“The decisive factors for our purchases of Freightliner trucks were the state-of-the-art vehicle technology, the fuel efficiency in long-distance transport and low service and repair costs. We are banking on reliable products in order to offer the best possible delivery service to our customers.” said José Antonio Gutiérrez, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Transmex.

Transmex is a Mexican forwarding company that has been relying on Daimler Trucks products for over two years now, and this latest order only cements their partnership with Freightliner.
