The M Performance Parts range was introduced to a small gathering of journalists in Portugal earlier this year. After that event, BMW published official photos of the car online but the vehicle never actually made it to any Auto Show before Frankfurt.
That's why the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show marks this car's World Premiere. Unlike the standard 435i, the model put up for display at BMW's stand, has more power, a new exterior design and some additional carbon fibre bits.
Going further into detail, the 306 HP 3-liter turbocharged engine was taken up to 340 HP and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque and uses the power through an 8-speed ZF gearbox and an optional Limited Slip Differential (LSD).
On the outside, the car has a new front bumper with a Carbon Fibre lip, new side sills with the M Performance logo, new carbon fibre mirror caps, a carbon fibre boot spoiler, M Performance wheels and stripes and a new exhaust system.
The cabin has been decorated with a lot of carbon fibre and alcantara too, a new steering wheel whilst the brake calipers can now be ordered in red, orange or yellow (the one put up for display had red ones).
