Created to showcase the company’s new scalable architecture, the Volvo Concept Coupe was unveiled today at Frankfurt Motor Show.
Having a low stance, long clean hood ending with the “floating” grille, diagonalized by the Volvo emblem, the Concept Coupe hints at the next generation P1800 from the 1960s, fact enhanced by even by its grey-ish blue body finish found mostly on the oldschool coupe.
Interesting details can be found inside as well, like the handcrafted crystal gearshift lever, premium leather upholstery, wood trimmings, a large portrait touchscreen and the new-age Volvo floating center console.
The concept is powered by a Drive-E 2-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine aided by an electric motor, totaling 400 hp and 600 Nm of torque.
