With all the crossovers and SUV currently on the market, you probably thing older 4x4 like the Jeep Wrangler are useless, but that's because you haven't tried one. We have, and were positively blown away by its offroad capabilities.
Jeep is celebrating the go-anywhere capabilities of the Wrangler with a Europe-only special edition dedicated to the Arctic and making its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
The Polar Edition features goodies like the Powerdome hood, a new front grille with black accents body-color hardtop, 18-inch polished Gloss Black alloy wheels and Polar white interior touches. But perhaps the biggest standout element is the new paint color, which Jeep calls Hydro Blue.
The model shown in Frankfurt is a four-door, but you can also order it as a two-door. Engine choices remain the same 200 PS 2.8-liter Fiat diesel or 284 PS 3.6-liter Pentastar V6.
Sales will start in the first quarter of 2014 across all major European markets.
