Dacia revealed the facelifted Dacia Duster in Frankfurt ahead of on-sale debut. While visually the differences are quite small, the changes made to the crossover will be appreciated by a lot of family car buyers.
Firstly, this is the first Dacia Duster available with a turbo petrol engine. Renault has allowed its budget brand to use the 1.2 TCe also seen on the Captur crossover. This is rated at 125 PS (123 bhp) and could deliver fuel consumption as low as 6 l/100 km combined for the 4x2 model with a six-speed manual.

The other engines remain the same, the 105 PS 1.6-liter petrol and 1.5-liter diesel available with either 90 or 110 PS. But depending on the grade of Duster you buy, you can now have an Eco Mode to improve fuel efficiency and even cruise control for those long highway trips.

The 2013 Dacia Duster is also available with Dacia/Renault's Media Nav infotainment system, which gives you navigation, MP3, radio and an integrated USB socket.

Visually, the Duster facelift has a new grille with two rugged chrome bars and new headlights. There's also a new set of alloy wheels, a chrome tip for the exhaust and roof rails that say "Duster" right on them.
