If you had no idea about this phenomenon so far, French people park so tight that most of the time, they literally have to push their way out of a lateral parking space.
After years of scratched bumpers and dents, the quirky-minded Citroen designers came up with the new Cactus Concept vehicle - a small crossover with Airbumps covering key body areas like the bumper corners and doors’ median section.

The Airbumps are also surrounded by rubber to protect the body from scratches and just because it has air bubbles (Sponge Bobuuu!...ahem...sorry, couldn’t helped myself), the French designers thought that “Cactus” is the right name for it. And without any spike-related relevance, the concept also uses a new invention called the Hybrid Air drivetrain.

Anyway, take a moment and have a look at the fresh pictures from the Cactus’ unveil at Frankfurt and imagine how cool it would be to drive away in it using only air.
