After seeing it at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, the centennial Aston Martin CC100 Speedster concept made its way to the shiny floors of the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The Le Mans inspired racecar combines modern technology with the classic shapes and materials from the late ‘50s, so it’s perfectly normal to see leather and buckles alongside with digital components and carbon fiber trimmings inside... well, since the CC100 has no windshield or roof, we can’t talk about an interior so we’ll call it the passenger area.
Under its long sweeping hood, you’ll find a 6-liter V12 engine producing 517 PS and 570 Nm (420 lb-ft) of torque, all going to the rear-mid mounted 6-speed “Sportshift” gearbox turning the rear wheels. Zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) is done in approximately 3.7 seconds.
