Back in 2009, we showed you the first iterations of the Toyota-Subaru sportscar, and a year later we brought you the first camouflaged prototype of the all-Subaru version. It took the boxer engine specialist almost another year to reveal... the name.
Yes folks, the Frankfurt Auto Show was NOT graced by a concept or pre-production version of the car. Instead, we got the old concept that demonstrated the technology involved, though one major modification has been made - instead of pale blue Plexiglas it’s line green.
To be fair, this is the second car architecture concept, and we now have a name for the car. According to the automaker, the name stands for “Boxer engine”, “Rear-wheel drive” and “Zenith”.
The good news is that since the car will enter production in 2012, an actual prototype will probably be shown by the end of the year.
