Lotus is all about power this year... and facelifts, so they unveiled their more punchy Evora ever in Frankfurt this year.
We’re talking about the mighty Lotus Evora GTE, which provides 444 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and 420 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm, thanks in part to the Dual-Variable Valve Timing of the supercharged engine.

Originally, this car was supposed to be a special edition for the Asian market, but few people could resist a Lotus with power like in the V8 days, so demand was off the charts. Thus, the automaker has decided to boost production and bring it to Europe as well.

Changes over the Evora S include a new set of alloys wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero Corsa tires and numerous carbon fiber components that have reduced the weight by 150 kg. No pricing or performance figures are available right now. After all, it’s a rush job.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
