We thing Land Rover is aiming this one at a much younger audience, so it wants to show what it can do with the new modular chassis. “The Defender was lover the world over for its simple, honest and distinctive design," says Land Rover Director, John Edwards. "We are determined that the new Defender will be true to its heritage while meeting the requirements of a changing global market.”

We’ve already covered the concept in detail, but we’ll remind you that it’s as bright a tuning show girl, has big wheels, no roof and two seats. Power comes via a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged petrol, with the automaker saying they can make a hybrid or PHEV out of it.
