In April, Fox Factory unveiled the 2024 Silverado Fox Factory Edition, a 700-horsepower supertruck that rivals the Ford F-150 Raptor R and the Ram 1500 TRX. Now, the tuner has announced a partnership with Valtech to bring in-app controls for its high-performance suspension system.
Chevrolet is not offering a competitor to the Ford F-150 Raptor R, at least not yet, but this doesn't mean those in the market for a monstrous Bow-Tie truck are left without options. Fox Factory injected steroids in the arm of the Silverado's 6.2-liter V8 L87 engine, raising the power to 700 hp from the standard 420 hp. The power increase is owed to a twin-screw Whipple Gen V 3.0-liter supercharger and a high-capacity billet aluminum air-to-water intercooler. This puts it right next to the most powerful trucks from Ford and Ram.

This being Fox Factory, you'd expect to find some nice suspension upgrades in its trucks, and you won't be disappointed. The 2024 Silverado Fox Factory Edition features top-of-the-line 3.2 Factory Race Series Live Valve shocks. Depending on the steering angle, brake, and throttle positions, these electronically controlled dampers adjust the compression and rebound in real-time. The best part is that these dampers can be controlled through Fox Factory's Live Valve suspension management system.

Now, Fox Factory announced a partnership with Valtech to allow owners to make suspension adjustments in a dedicated mobile app. This connects over Bluetooth to the suspension's controller and will enable users to tailor the vehicle's suspension to the desired performance characteristics in various terrains or for peak performance. They can also record their rides in the app and receive usage and statistics for maintenance and improved system health. Of course, this also allows Fox Factory to improve the suspension characteristics over time with software updates.

In addition to the engine and suspension upgrades, the 2024 Silverado Fox Factory Edition sports a stainless steel Borla cat-back exhaust that lets out all the drama of the L87. The configuration includes RCV CVs on the front axle, a full-width semi-float Dana 60 axle with a 3.73 gear set, and an ARB Air Locker locking differential. And because all these upgrades are meaningless if the truck doesn't look menacing in the rear-view mirror, Fox Factory offers plenty of visual enhancements.

These include custom steel bumpers front and rear, skid plates, and an additional lighting system. Fox Factory installed a carbon fiber hood and flared fenders to keep the weight under control. The cabin also features carbon fiber trims and Alcantara, while a dashboard plate conveys that sense of exclusivity.

If these upgrades caught your interest, you had better hurry because Fox Factory only plans to produce 500 units. The starting price is $209,999, with a reservation downpayment of $20,000. The price is almost double the starting price of a Ford F-150 Raptor R ($113,055). However, there's no doubt you get more performance with the Fox Factory package.
