Doing a wheel stand in a powerful musclecar isn’t as easy as it sounds and the video you’re about to see below is the perfect proof.
The stunt belongs to Tab Jordan, who almost wrecked his gorgeous Fox Body Mustang at the Thunder Valley Raceway Park in North Carolina about two years ago. Yes, the footage is far from being new, but it’s a great lesson on how to get your car down to the ground following a crazy launch like this.
The video reminds us of Jake Conant’s tricky run at the Cecil Country Dragway last November, when his 2003 Ford Mustang Cobra almost got totaled after losing touch with the asphalt. Just like Jordan, Conant managed to land the pony on all four wheels, thus avoiding a brutal crash.
