The epitome of long-lasting pony/muscle cars, Ford’s Mustang has gone through deep changes over the years – some for the better, others for the (much) worse. And, sometimes, it dabbled in between.
Say what you want about the legendary sports car, but one should at least agree that it has been a true chameleon. The original kickstarted the pony car craze, the follow-up sadly had to adapt to the Malaise car era, the third was a long-lasting hoot, the fourth iteration brought a New Edge, while the fifth and sixth are all about vintage car nostalgia and modern performance.

Sitting smack in the middle of the pack, the third generation – also known as the Fox Body Mustang because of its Fox platform – is just one of those cars that elicit an extreme love/hate reaction. Some fell head over heels for it (and the crush lingers even today) while others would only love to ignore it out of existence.

Well, whether or not the Fox Body Mustang is your cup of tea, this Ford sure has achieved a cult following – both in the real world and across the virtual realm. And here is another obvious case in point. Czech Republic-based virtual artist Rostislav Prokop, better known as rostislav_prokop on social media, is back into Americana action with a trio of Fox Body Mustangs after previously offering his take on an unofficial Mitsubishi EVO XI revival.

This trilogy series depicts three instances of Blue Ovals doing what they can to blow our digital socks off. The first version of the ubiquitous Fox Body paints an orange picture with lots of motorsport attire and aerodynamic enhancements. As such, it would probably be feasible for a cool time attack course and a few enthusiastic auto shows.

The second variant, a two-tone (silver and black) ‘Stang is equally slammed and also has a subtle widebody attitude, plus what appears to be a fully crimson interior that even comes complete with a matching roll cage. Alas, the icing on the cake comes from the blower V8 treatment that signals this is not something to be trifled with at the quarter-mile dragstrip.

Then, last but certainly not least, comes the crimson variant – which, I must admit, is my personal favorite.
