Last time we brought you some drag strip action you saw a stock 2014 Ford Fiesta ST being pitted against a late 1970s Chevrolet El Camino and a blown 1960s Dodge. Just for kicks, obviously, and to establish an official quarter mile time for the new Fiesta ST.
Today we’re back with another unbalanced drag strip battle, this time between a fourth-generation Ford Mustang and a Hyundai Genesis. Unfortunately, we have no idea about the tweaks applied to the cars, but it’s clear as daylight that the pony is far from being stock because it kick the hell out of that Korean coupe.
The Mustang crosses the line after 11.59 seconds @ nearly 129 miles per hour (207 km/h), almost three seconds quicker than the Genesis, which manages 101 miles per hour (162 km/h) at the end of the strip. Watch the action in the video below.
