Almost immediately after it was launched on all major markets, the all-new Mercedes-Benz S-Class has jumped back in the number one spot when it comes to luxury car sales, and the three-pointed star doesn't like to rest on its laurels.
Starting right now, four new versions of the flagship sedan in the Mercedes-Benz range can be ordered, with dealerships across the world receiving them starting with March 2014.

The S 300 BlueTec Hybrid takes the role of the most fuel-efficient S-Class until the S 500 Plug-in Hybrid enters the scene. Combining the well-known 2.1-liter, sequential turbocharged diesel with a 27 hp electric motor, the new model has a combined fuel consumption of just 4.4 liters per 100 km (53.4 mpg). Pricing starts at EUR 80,920 short wheelbase and EUR 86,453.50 long wheelbase (including 19 percent VAT in Germany).

The S 350 BlueTec is now available with 4Matic, thus combining the safety of four-wheel drive with the fuel economy and torque of the three-liter turbodiesel from before. Pricing starts at EUR 84,728 short wheelbase and EUR 90,261.50 long wheelbase (including 19 percent VAT in Germany).

The recently-unveiled S 600 has the flagship non-AMG engine of the lineup, with its twin-turbocharged six-liter V12 developing a healthy 530 hp and 830 Nm (612 lb ft) of torque. Pricing starts, as you already know, at EUR 164,279.50 (including 19 percent VAT in Germany).

The most powerful V12-powered luxury sedan in the world title goes to the new S 65 AMG, its 630 hp and the electronically-limited torque of 1000 Nm (738 lb ft) making it set the standard it its segment once again. Pricing starts at EUR 234,906 (including 19 percent VAT in Germany).
