Four-Door Ferrari F12 Rendering Is Ready to One-Up the GTC4Lusso

Now that Ferrari has given us the revamped and rebranded FF, it was only a matter of time until the Internet came up with something that would attempt to one-up the GTC4Lusso.

Well, here we are, looking at the virtual creation that wants to steal the family man Ferrari's crown.

You don't need to be a pixel master, such as Rain Prisk Designs, the artist who came up with the image above, to read between the lines of this project.

While the front section, as well as the posterior of this virtual contraption, comes from the Ferrari F12, the middle section belongs to a sedan. And this four-door asset is the catch that makes the vehicle more practical than the FF. Sorry, we meant GTC4Lusso - while we love Ferrari reviving two designations with rich history, we can't help but feel the name is way too complicated to be used in full form on a regular basis.

Heck, this wouldn't even be Ferrari's first four-door model. We need to look no further than the late 90s to find the 456, for which Maranello came up with both a sedan and a station wagon incarnation. While the Italians only built a handful of these machines, the genes now sit in the Prancing Horse DNA.

Don't expect the Italians to build such a vehicle again too soon, though. For one thing, Lamborghini has weighed the possibility with the Estoque.

Introduced back in 2008 as a concept, the Raging Bull's sedan never made it into production, simply because the Urus SUV beat the Estoque to that goal.

Besides, when Maserati has not one but two Ferrari-engined sedans in its portfolio, such a vehicle with Ferrari shields on its front fenders isn't exactly a priority. However, thanks to the click currency, we can now enjoy this four-door FF without Ferrari having to build one.
