Four-Door Bugatti Sedan Spotted Hiding Under Cover, Could Be Electric

Bugatti has recently captured our attention thanks to the Divo, but it seems that the French carmaker might be preparing an all-new model instead of the Chiron-based special that greeted us at Pebble Beach. It all has to do with the machine portrayed in the image above, which appears to be a sedan.
Of course, this brings back memories of the Galibier 16C. We're referring to the four-door concept car that was showcased way back in 2009 (the thing was obviously based on the Veyron).

As it has been the case with the gorgeous Lamborghini Estoque, the Molsheim four-door never entered production. However, while Sant'Agata Bolognese decided to keep the Estoque on the shelf in favor of the Urus, Bugatti isn't expected to jump the high-riding bandwagon too soon.

In fact, the company has been dropping hints on its intentions of remaining a one-model brand, even though the introduction of the Divo makes that status questionable.

Returning to the machine we have here, the mediocre quality of the image, which surfaced on social media and, of course, the cover, don't allow us to notice too many details.

Then again, the silhouette of the Bugatti horseshoe grille is obvious at the front of the vehicle. And so is the fact that the wheelbase clearly allows for the presence of four doors.

Interestingly, the front section of the vehicle seems too compact to house Bugatti's trademark W16 quad-turbo engine. Then again, the rear side of the car is overly generous, so perhaps this is where the mighty engine is housed.

Of course, the potential hyper-sedan could always be an electric proposal coming as yet another concept. After all, the carmaker has mentioned that electrification, be it full of partial, is on the table for the Chiron's successor.

Who knows? Perhaps the lucky few will be able to wake up in an all-new Bugatti together with their whole family.
