Formula Race Car Nurbugring Lap on Snow

The tarmac is covered in ice and snow, with the temperature dropping to a level that makes most clothing useless. These don’t sound like conditions for any kind of driving and if it’s performance driving we’re talking about, the proposal seems a mad one.
Well, we’re inviting you to enjoy the madness behind the “play” button, where you’ll find Andy Gulden, the Nurburgring Driving Academy’s chief instructor, who chose this surface for a drifting session on the ‘Ring.

His vehicle of choice? A 4WD go-fast machine? Nope, a Formula race car. This is a true challenge, as the vehicle oversteers at the slightest touch of the throttle pedal, but this is exactly what he is exploiting to give us delicious moments that make you want to grab your car keys and hit the icy road...
