From the same company that made Wipeout, a game that resulted in many lost nights during our youth, comes Formula Fusion. It's not yet ready, but it promises to be a futuristic racing game that's right up our alley.
Formula Fusion is not the sort of game you play because you're into realistic damage, perfect racing lines and immaculate recreations of engine sounds. It's definitely not for the Gran Turismo crowd. Different is better and this game combines the look of a Formula 1 car with that of the pod racers from Star Wars Episode 1.
British game developers R8 Games only have a couple of thousands of fans on Facebook. That makes everything feel very… indie. But they do promise to have the game ready for the PS4, Xbox and PC by the end of the third quarter of 2015.
The company is formed by a few members from one of games studio Sony shut down in Britain and is going to finance its operations though Kickstarter.
If you want to help this project but don't have money to finance it, R8 Games says it will start an Alfa testing pilot program soon. In exchange for putting up with the bugs, participants will get a 25% discount when Formula Fusion goes on sale.
Our say? Maybe it's best to make an iPhone/Android version as well.
