The guys over at Jalopnik recently asked readers to post question for the former Top Gear Stig and James Bond stunt Driver, Ben Collins.
One reader asked which was Ben's favorite supercar as a pro driver, to which he answere the Ferrari 458 Italia. "You could drift the car sideways and balance an egg on the throttle pedal because its just so responsive and forgiving. You feel everything but the car isnt too stiff, so it moves with you - you feel the front dive under braking and lean towards the corner," Collins says.
While we do agree if you're talking about track use in absolutely perfect conditions, the 458 is also more of a handful in real life. It does the civilized stuff very well, but lacks the pantomime of a Lambo if you're not driving it to the limit.
"It leaves most other cars feeling pretty numb by comparison," Collins continued. The former Top Gear Stig is involved with a number of new-media projects, such as Fifth Gear and CAR Magazine.
